Supaloc Classic Targa

The streets of Adelaide will come alive this September when classic vehicles make a return to South Australia for a new annual rally. The Supaloc Classic Targa Adelaide is open only to classic cars. It's part of the Australian Targa Championship which features other prestigious rallies, including Targa Wrest Point, Targa Tasmania and Targa High Country. The Supaloc Classic Targa Adelaide marks the triumphant return of classic cars to the streets of Adelaide since the Classic Adelaide Rally ended in 2009. Spectators will have the opportunity to watch the rally in the Adelaide Hills, Barossa and Fleurieu Peninsula from designated viewing points. The event will also see the reinstatement of the Gouger Street Party on Friday 16 September. With over 200 vehicles on display in Gouger Street from 5pm, the event is a must see.

Royal Adelaide Show

13th Australian Masters Games

Credit Union Christmas Pageant

As the 86 floats meandered along the pageant route, Father Christmas gets ready to greet all of the children in Adelaide. The pageant officially finishes with Father Christmas arriving at the Magic Cave, North Terrace at around 11.30am. Pageant goers need to be in position by 9am as the pageant makes it's way down King William Street, through Victoria Square, down Pulteney Street, followed by Grenfell Street, back onto King William and finally east down North Terrace.

Womadelaide

The WOMAD - ‘World of Music, Arts & Dance’ festival was co-founded in the UK by Peter Gabriel and was first presented in Australia as WOMADelaide in 1992. Since then it has gone on to become one of Australia's favourite outdoor festivals and in 2010 it attracted 81,500 attendences over four days (not including children under 12, who are admitted free). The program features performances and workshops on seven stages by some of the world's best musicians, dancers and DJs, alongside street theatre and visual artists, the popular Taste the World cooking program, Artists in Conversations sessions and an All-Star Gala finale, together with around 100 food, crafts and display stalls and KidZone for children.

The Adelaide Fringe Festival is an arts festival held annually in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. The event is Australia and the Southern Hemisphere's largest arts event and the second-largest fringe festival in the world, second in size only to the Edinburgh Fringe. Prior to the year 2007, the Adelaide Fringe was a biennial event, occurring in even-numbered years to coincide with the Adelaide Festival of Arts. The festival is run over 24 days and nights in February and March of every year and includes hundreds of cabaret, comedy, dance, theatre, music, and visual arts events. Festival highlights include an opening night party, parade and concert, street theatre, the Garden of Unearthly Delights and Fringe Family Weekend.
