The Spring Racing Carnival puts Victoria on the international map with its high-quality racing and influx of international competitors and visitors each year. The BMW Caulfield Cup at Caulfield, Tatts Cox Plate at Moonee Valley and Emirates Melbourne Cup at Flemington highlight the carnival and are complemented by featured country meetings in all parts of Victoria.

Fitzroy Gardens Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt at Cooks’ Cottage is back for another year! Children are invited to explore the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, hunting for the eggs at Cooks’ Cottage, bunny figurines at the Dolphin Fountain and chicks at Sinclairs’ Cottage. At the end, they take home everybody’s favourite Easter treat - chocolate! The Easter Bunny will also be coming for a visit so pack the camera and check out the photo session times so you can create some memories from this years’ Easter. There is also storytelling near Cooks' Cottage and face painting at extra cost. The Egg Hunt starts every half hour and the activity takes about 30 minutes, so why not pack a picnic hamper and make a day of it around the gardens? This event was booked out last year so book early to avoid disappointment.
