Meet Bianca Tachdjian, Quest Ivanhoe

It was during her years at secondary school that Quest Ivanhoe business owner Bianca Tachdjian had the realisation that one day she wanted to own a hotel.

Bianca’s dream was realised in early 2022, when she was granted a minority ownership share in the Quest Ivanhoe franchise business, joining existing business owners Andrew Scott and Nick Michael.  This achievement followed a 13-year journey with Quest Apartment Hotels, where Bianca held a number of roles based both at the property-level, as well as working for the Quest support office team.   All of Bianca’s positions helped move her closer to reaching her goal of hotel ownership.

Now several months into her latest role as Business Owner, Bianca could not be happier with her decision to make the leap from employee to business owner.

“There’s no doubt about it, it is hard work.  There are long tiring days, and the pressure is there.  But it is really rewarding seeing a greater personal financial return for all the effort I put in, not to mention that I am contributing to growing the value of the Quest Ivanhoe business.

“I’m also enjoying the lifestyle benefits of being my own boss – for example, I have the freedom to finish a little early on the days that I’m ahead.  I am nothing without my team and I am so grateful to all of my team members who give so much day in, day out, to help us deliver a great experience to our guests here at Quest Ivanhoe.

“I hope that in the years to come I can pay it forward, and help someone to become a Quest business owner just like Andrew and Nick have done with me.  With Quest, I know it is a genuine possibility, due to the strength of their new property growth pipeline, plus their track record in running successful franchise businesses.”
