28 September 2020: Quest Breakfast Creek will have a new franchise owner from 30 September 2020, when incumbent operators Jenny and Tony O’Reilly hand over the keys to Quest newcomer Roberto Salicio.

“Roberto brings with him over fifteen years of global experience in the hospitality sector, so we are delighted to welcome him to the network as franchisee of Quest Breakfast Creek, and support his ongoing success”, said Quest’s Chief Operating Officer, David Mansfield.

“Roberto will be taking over from the O’Reilly’s who have done a wonderful job establishing and operating the property since it opened in 2012”.

Originally from Spain, Roberto most recently held the position of Executive Assistant Manager at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. 

“Owning my own business is something I’ve always hoped to do, so it’s exciting to be stepping into the role as franchisee at Quest Breakfast Creek, bringing a wide range of hospitality experience from across Europe and Australia”, said Roberto.

Just footsteps from the famous Breakfast Creek Hotel, the centrally located 132-room serviced apartment building comprises a mix of studios, one, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Over eight years in operation, Quest Breakfast Creek has a well-established cohort of clientele, which Roberto is confident will grow with several infrastructure projects on the horizon in the area.

“There are a number of major projects underway in the immediate area which represent an exciting opportunity for Quest Breakfast Creek to keep growing its already robust client and guest base”, he said.

Meanwhile, the sale of Quest breakfast Creek will allow Jenny and Tony to focus on Quest Toowoomba, where they have been franchisees for five years. With the sale now finalised, the pair will make the long-awaited move to Toowoomba later this month.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed the past eight years at Breakfast Creek. It’s been our absolute pleasure being part of the local community and sharing this beautiful part of the world with our guests”, said Jenny.

“While sad to say goodbye, we are really looking forward to this next chapter and excited to pour ourselves into Quest Toowoomba”.
