What brought you to Quest?

I’ve always had an ambition for the industry since year 10, and Quest allowed me to forge my own pathway from the age of 17 fresh out of school. I was grateful to have the opportunity to be hired at the largest property at the time and grow both personally and professionally. 

What sets Quest apart from other accommodation providers?

We’re still here after an incredibly difficult time in the hospitality industry. We are sustainable and are consistently looking for ways to improve. The success of our franchisee network feeds directly into the success of the franchisor and I am so privileged to be apart of the Quest family.

What do you love about Ivanhoe?

I love the fact that we have over 50 cafes and restaurants on our doorstep, on what is one of the most well-known strips in Ivanhoe. They’re all run by locals which allows us to have a real community feel, especially being apart of the Ivanhoe Trader’s Association. I love that we’re so close to the Darebin Creek Trail, close to the city but not in the city (10kms), and the fact that the area is family-oriented, quiet and serene. We’ve seen so much growth in the area that is promising for us millennials.  

What do you like to do outside of work?

I’m a real gym-junkie, love the beach, I’m a travel addict and not impartial to a few beverages with friends. 

Do you have any favourite go-to local picks?

Pinkie is my top favourite, with the best Snicker’s Protein Shake in town. Relinque Spa is where I can relax and Wilson Reserve is where I can enjoy a stroll and Ivanhoe Oval is where I set my PB for a 10 km run
