Day Three

Get on the road early in the direction of Busselton, an area known for its humpback whale population. Enjoy a whale watching tour in Geographe Bay, where whales call home from September to December before migrating north. Or, if dark and mysterious is more you pace, you can’t go past the Mammoth Cave in Dunsborough. An impressive limestone cave with great paleontological significance, embedded in the wall of the Mammoth Cave is a fossil jawbone of a long-extinct (circa 50,000 years ago) giant marsupial species. Next stop, Margaret River – a wine region that produces 20% of Australia’s premium wine. Take your pick of one the many wineries for lunch, before hopping between cellar doors and sampling the region’s finest drops. Our picks are Evoi Wines, Willespie, Mongrel Creek Vineyard.

There is nowhere quite like WA. We hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend with Quest!
