In 2025, Quest properties across Australia collected over 2,400 kilograms of food for Foodbank Australia, our first coordinated food drive as a network. This year, more properties are participating, more communities are involved, and the goal is bigger.
Throughout July, participating Quest properties are hosting a dedicated Winter Food Drive, collecting non-perishable food donations from guests, corporate teams and local communities. Every item donated is then delivered directly to a local Foodbank warehouse for distribution to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Below, you’ll find a full list of participating properties, organised by state, with details on how to contribute.
Why winter, why now
Demand on food relief services peak during the colder months. Foodbank Australia, the country’s largest hunger relief organisation, distributes food to over 3,000 charities and community groups nationwide, and July is one of its most critical months for supply.
The scale of need is significant: 1 in 5 Australians cannot afford a basic meal. For every $1 donated, Foodbank can provide approximately 2 meals.
How to donate
Quest is calling on local communities to drop off any non-perishable food items, including canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals and long-life products, at a participating Quest property throughout July. Collection points are located in the property reception.

About the program
The Winter Food Drive sits within Quest for a Cause, Quest’s national giving platform, which brings the franchise network, corporate teams and guests together around causes that create meaningful, community-led impact. Foodbank Australia is one of Quest’s national charity partners, with activations running across the network through awareness campaigns, in-property fundraising and hands-on initiatives throughout the year.
"Food insecurity doesn't take a break in winter, it gets worse. We have over 120 properties embedded in communities across Australia, and this drive is a practical way to use that presence for something that genuinely matters. Every item collected stays local, going directly to the Foodbank in that state." - Anthea Dimitrakopoulos GM of Brand, Digital and ESG
For Quest, community impact isn’t a seasonal gesture. It’s built into how our network operates, property by property, city by city. The Winter Food Drive is one practical expression of that.
