Quest builds momentum for multi-unit franchisees

4 JUNE – Quest Apartment Hotels has opened its third Victorian property this year with the launch of ninety-one premium serviced apartments in Burwood East.

Quest’s growth over the last 10 years, established business model and franchisee support services has given existing and new franchisees the opportunity to expand their portfolios in Australia’s fastest growing apartment hotel network.

Kris Marinakis from Quest Mont Albert was appointed franchisee at Quest Burwood East, making him one of several multi-unit franchisees in the network.

“After the success we enjoyed at Quest Mont Albert, thanks in large part to Quest’s business franchise model and development in the local area, purchasing a second franchise was the next logical step.”

“Thousands of new residents, business travellers, students and shoppers are visiting the City of Whitehorse each year, increasing the demand for premium accommodation.”

“Quest Burwood East contains a premium range of serviced apartments to provide a true home-away-from-home experience for business travellers and visitors in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs,” Mr Marinakis said.

Quest Burwood East is located in one of Melbourne’s largest suburban renewal zones with major works at the Burwood Brickworks, Deakin University and surrounding commercial centres attracting new businesses and residents.

Whitehorse Mayor, Councillor Bill Bennett said he was pleased to see this historic site redeveloped.

“Council works in partnership to support a strong, active local economic environment that attracts investment and provides economic opportunities for businesses and employment for people,” Cr Bennett said.

Developed in partnership with OAM Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Oriental Group of Companies and K2LD Architects, the apartment hotel features modern and selfcontained studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Located within a five minute drive from The Glen, Forest Hill and Burwood One shopping centres, Quest Burwood East includes onsite parking, a business lounge, conference facilities and a large gymnasium.

Quest Burwood East features complimentary high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi, smart televisions with in-room entertainment and 24-hour on-site management. Additional services include dining and breakfast options, local restaurant chargebacks, on-site carparking, daily housekeeping and pantry shopping service.
