Quest relaunches ‘Quest for a Cause’ community support program

Quest Apartment Hotels has relaunched its global community support program to better recognise and celebrate the regular charitable contributions made by business owners within their communities.

‘Quest for a Cause’ will aggregate the community support initiatives of 170 Quest properties globally, aiming to cement the hotel network as the preferred franchising provider by consistently bringing improvements to the businesses.

Quest’s ongoing national support for Housing All Australians and Sony Foundation’s ‘You Can Stay’ will also sit within the ‘Quest for a Cause’ program, in addition to local efforts undertaken by the business network.

Quest donates goods and accommodation support to Housing All Australians, helping to address the affordable housing shortage for vulnerable people. The business also supports the Sony Foundation’s You Can Stay’ program by providing accommodation in cities around Australia for regional and rural youth diagnosed with cancer.

Quest’s General Manager of Franchise Operations, David Ridgeway, says the revitalised Quest for a Cause program, which includes a registration portal and local area marketing resource, will showcase the work of business owners supporting the communities they operate in.

“For Quest, the revitalised ‘Quest for a Cause’ framework makes the process of engaging with local community causes even easier for our business owners, our teams and our network,” said David.

“It’s truly heart-warming to hear about business owners across the country who despite having faced some momentous challenges themselves during COVID-19 continue to search for ways to champion local causes.”

“They’re supporting youth programs in regional Queensland, donating furniture to charities, and helping raise funds for people battling terminal illness. These are just a few of the charitable causes Quest business owners support, so we’re thrilled to formalise our ‘Quest for a Cause’ program to best share their efforts with guests and the wider community”.
