Set off on the Bob McGovan Path – it takes in much of the stretch along Geelong's pretty waterfront, winding past striking bollards by artist Jan Mitchell and taking in the old historic carousel as well.
Around 15 minutes’ walk south of Quest Geelong Central is GMHBA Stadium. It has a capacity of 40,000, but the impressive size of this regional stadium has nothing on the city’s love of sport – particularly AFL. If you get a chance to experience a home match here, you won’t regret taking it.
