Australian Junior Motocross Nationals

Full Description:
To be hosted by Bunbury Motorcycle Club, you are invited to a WA secret located in the heart of one of WAs pristine holiday destination hot spots. A top tourist destination, combined with fine wining and dining, luxury accommodation and WAs best motocross club and sand track as voted by the WAMX Championships. The best of the best is here in Bunbury. Bunbury Motorcycle Club has a rich history, in 2014 had a massive year hosting three championship events for WAMX. Juniors, Seniors and Quads are catered for with the states riders all making sure the Bunbury round is on their calendars. The circuit itself Shrubland Park has undergone many changes including infrastructure, making the facilities one of the best in the state. With viewing points for almost the entirety of the track, spectators flock to the circuit and take advantage of being able to view the whole track.

2015 NSW Dick Smith Bass Hill to Bunbury Bash

The Bash will set off from Bass Hill for the initial 10 day adventure, travelling through FOUR states and two new overnight locations, Port Pirie and Bunbury, together with visiting rural towns and schools along the way. You will travel on parts of the original, Nullarbor (dirt) Track and all this in celebration of a years worth of fundraising for Variety – the Children’s Charity and Australias special needs children.

Shortlisted films vying for the Prize will premiere in Western Australia at the CinefestOZ film festival. The CinefestOZ Film Prize is supported by the Western Australian State Government through Tourism WAs Regional Events Program, which is funded by Royalties for Regions. The festival acknowledges its strong partnership with ScreenWest, Western Australias screen funding and development agency. Previous winner: In 2014, the inaugural CinefestOZ Film Prize was won by the family friendly, Robert Connolly-directed film, Paper Planes, which is currently performing strongly at the Australian box office since its 15 January 2015 cinema release.

The next national Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference (AITC) 2016 will be held in Bunbury, Western Australia. The conference is the only event of its kind in Australia and is scheduled to be held from 9 till 11 March 2016. The aim is to hold the conference in regions around Australia to showcase the diversity of Aboriginal culture in Australia and celebrate the achievements made in the tourism industry. The 8th AITC will bring together Aboriginal tourism representatives, businesses and organisations from Australia and overseas to discuss the opportunities and challenges within the industry through plenary sessions and presentations by industry leaders in the field.

The Geographe Wine Show was first held in 2002 and over the last 12 years has become a prestigious annual opportunity for wine producers in the region to exhibit and have wines benchmarked against industry standards. The Wine Show facilitates comparison of wines by leading industry professionals, and allows producers to focus on continuous improvements in wine quality and the opportunity to increase industry knowledge. All wines are judged to national standards by recognised Australian wine professionals who have included in the past included, Tyson Stelzer, Dave Longden, Chris Pfeiffer, Gary Baldwin, John Hanley, John Griffiths and Ray Jordan.
