Teena Lynch
Teena has over 35 years of experience in commercial and institutional finance, including over 11 years working with property developers in the private development sector. Teena has a diverse skill set with a strong focus on property, capital, leadership, and team culture.
With over 11 years working in the private development sector, Teena has been responsible for acquisitions, capital structuring and arrangement, asset management, and assessing project feasibilities. Teena has prepared detailed project information reports to assist in securing opportunities, negotiated with key stakeholders including joint venture partners, financiers, lawyers, tenants and hotel operators.
Teena’s 20 years of experience in the banking and finance sector was primarily in property finance. Funding specialisation included property investment and development transactions from $10m - $300m, including club and syndications. This experience has been instrumental in Teena’s roles in the private development sector in understanding and assessing project risk, and optimising project performance.
Over Teena’s career she has held senior management roles and demonstrated a strong capability in leadership, capital management, change management and building a business. Teena has a proven track record of effecting positive change in team environments and is genuinely passionate about working and creating a great culture to maximise the performance of the team and the business.
Teena’s last role was Director Capital & Investments at Glenvill Developments, part of the larger Glenvill group, an Australian developer with over 54 years delivering multi-unit housing, house & land packages, and medium and high-density developments. Teena was responsible for the arrangement of all Glenvill Development’s funding across the capital stack. As part of the leadership team, Teena worked closely with the board to drive strategy for the growth and success of the development business.
In late July 2024 Teena will be commencing a new role with top-tier two financier, Wingate. Established in 2004, Wingate has invested over $7 billion of capital across the firm’s asset management, financing, and investment activities. As Director - Property Acquisitions, Teena will work with the board and executive
leadership, implementing strategy to drive growth for the business and maximising opportunities. Working closely with the Property team, Teena will explore ways to deliver the best capital solutions for existing and new clients.
