Our guests can expect a consistent hotel experience personalised by local business owners who go the extra mile. That's why when you visit any Quest, you're not just a guest. You're a friend. Learn more about our business owners in our latest Business Owner Spotlight with Roberto from Quest Breakfast Creek.

What brought you to Quest?

Quest had a strong reputation within the service apartment market, the franchise model works as it does engage all stakeholders being the Landlord, Quest and the local business owner. One of the main aspects for me is the amount of Quest business owners that were before employed by either Quest Corporate Office or worked in a Quest. This clearly shows that the people working for Quest believe in the model and choose to become business owners themselves.

What sets Quest apart from other accommodation providers?

Quest ensures the service provided across all different hotels is the same, although independently run by individual business owner there is a clear consistency on the service which makes the brand attractive to regular travellers as we deliver effortless stays. Quest also provides support at a Corporate Office level which ensure the business owners have access to all the tools they require to deliver 5 star service. In addition, Quest works in partnership with different stakeholder within the local area which creates a more personalise service highlighting all the hidden gems guest can enjoy while staying at the hotel.

What do you love about Albion?

Although our neighbourhood is Albion, we are known as Breakfast Creek as we are just opposite on of the most iconic watering holes in Brisbane. The Breakfast Creek hotel is renowned for the meat offering and the famous XXXX beer on a barrel which is only available here. Albion unique location just 15 min from the Airport and CBD makes it perfect to the travellers who wants to explore Brisbane. In addition Albion has grown tremendously its food and beverage offering and there are numerous venues around the hotel from gin, whiskey and beer distilleries to handcrafted cheese and chocolates.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Having grown up in Spain, food is part of my culture. I enjoy cooking for my family and spending time with the kids exploring the outback of this incredible country. I have been around the word twice but since Covid this seems impossible now so I am focusing on exploring Australia. I am also a big soccer supporter so when possible, I love to watch my local team Real Madrid play.

Do you have any favourite go-to local picks?

For a nice meal of course the Breakfast Creek hotel is a must. I love a nice cold beer from local Brewery, Fonzi & Abbot, on the way I would stop at The CheeseBoard for some amazing local produce. I will also recommend the Pinnacle fitness gym across the street which provides great selection of personalised classes. Finish the day with a walk along the Brisbane river during sun-set is absolutely stunning.
