Jason, who has recently relocated to the Southern Highlands, brings to Goulburn more than 20 years of hospitality experience, having spent the last five years as Quest’s NSW franchise relationship manager based out of its corporate office.
“My time as a Franchise Relationship Manager has shown me what it takes to run a successful franchise, so I’m confident to take the next step into business ownership,” Mr Travers said.
Mr Travers said he’s received a warm welcome from Goulburn’s business community in the lead up to the launch in November.
“The feedback I’ve received from business owners has been positive and there’s a lot to get excited about. Approvals for wind and solar farms are underway, the NSW Police Academy and Corrections Centre continues to attract visitors.
“The business environment here is strong, so the conditions for premium serviced apartments are terrific,” Mr Travers said.
Quest Apartment Hotels General Manager – Franchise Operations, David Ridgeway said the move is a natural step for hospitality professionals of his ilk.
“Jason has chalked up five years of experience coaching and guiding Quest’s NSW franchisees after spending 15 years in the hotel business.
“He brings a strong understanding of hospitality and franchising to the role, so we’re thrilled to see him transition into franchise business ownership,” Mr Ridgeway said.
