Quest Apartment Hotels has a proven track record of delivering 8-10 properties per year in the Australasian market, centrally situated in emerging business locations.
The Quest business began as a partnership with a developer, and almost 30 years later it remains the preferred model for establishing Quest Apartment Hotel properties.
Given Quest’s rate of expansion, this model allows the company to proceed with several properties concurrently, partnering with the most appropriate developer for the project.
It is intended that the growth of the Quest brand in the UK will be effected in a similar manner. Long term leases will be offered for suitable sites and preferred development partners.
By 2023, Quest aims to open 8-10 apartment hotel properties across the UK.
Quest are interested in development partners who are invested in the concept and have a balanced stakeholder approach, conscious that the development needs to provide a reasonable return for all parties including developer, tenant and landlord / investor.
Location is key, so potential sites for a Quest Apartment Hotel must be close to the town/city centre and within an easy 5-10 minute walk of public transport links. The location needs to be prominent, preferably with street frontage. Sites need to be located within a strong commercial catchment area with key economic drivers, and with local access to restaurants, cafés and grocery shopping.
Quest are primarily focusing on the following locations at present: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and commercial areas of London within the M25.
