9 October 2018 – Quest Apartment Hotels has added an additional 11 brand new apartments to its Quest Scarborough property, as part of a major extension for the beach-side apartment hotel.
The extension was undertaken to better cater to corporate travellers doing business within the burgeoning tourist location. The Scarborough market is stronger than ever, leading to consistently high occupancy rates at the property, presenting a strong opportunity for franchisee, Ronnie Yu to grow and expand his existing operations.
Demand for accommodation in Scarborough has been stimulated by the addition of several major high-rise developments in the area, including the planned development of the 42 and 33-story twin-towers, a mixed-use development more than double the height of the existing tallest structure in the area.
