ACCOUNT PAYMENT

The preferred method of payment is by credit card. Company accounts may be established by making prior arrangements with Management.

ADAPTORS AND TRANSFORMERS

The electrical current is 240 volts AC at 50 Hz. International adaptors are available from Reception. A $20 hire deposit is refundable upon return of the item.

BAGGAGE SERVICES AND STORAGE

Guests are welcome to leave luggage at Reception on the day of departure for later collection. Please contact Reception for assistance.

BUSINESS CENTRE

A complete range of business services are available, including; scanning, courier, photocopying, word processing and typing.

TRAINS & BUSES

Public
The public bus station and train stations are located within walking distance of the hotel. Full timetables and locations available from Reception.

CONFERENCE ROOM

Quest Epping offers modern, well-appointed meeting and conference facilities. The conference room is equipped with a projector, large flat screen interactive television,  whiteboard, flip chart, note pads and pens. Additional equipment can be arranged upon request. A variety of room set-ups and catering options are available. The total maximum sit down capacity is 30 delegates in a theatre style. CAR PARKING

Quest Epping offers limited onsite parking facilities. For more information, to obtain prices and to pre book, please contact Reception.

CHECK OUT TIME

Check Out time is 10:00am. Please contact reception to arrange a late checkout (subject to availability). If no prior arrangements have been made, we reserve the right to charge a late checkout fee. 

CHILDREN

DISABLED FACILITIES

Quest Epping provides full wheelchair access into the property and offers full access apartments. Please contact Reception for more information.

DRY CLEANING, LAUNDRY AND PRESSING

A same day dry cleaning service is available Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.  Laundry bags and dockets are located in your apartment wardrobe. Please complete the docket and take your dry cleaning to Reception before 09:00am for delivery the same afternoon. For additional laundry items outside of the nominated times, please contact Reception.

EMAIL

Guests may receive email while staying at Quest Epping. Guest emails are to be addressed to questepping@questapartments.com.au. Please request the sender to note “GUEST EMAIL FOR ****” in the subject line.

EXTRA BEDDING

All One, Two and Three Bedroom Apartments offer sofa beds, available as one extra person bedding.  Extra person charges are $45.00 per person, per night. Please notify the Reception of your requirements. 

EMERGENCY

In the event of an emergency, please contact reception immediately.; It is important that guests familiarise themselves with the emergency procedures displayed on the back of your apartment door.

For immediate assistance, please contact Emergency Services by dialling 000.

FIRE EVACUATION PROCEDURES

Quest Epping is equipped with sophisticated fire detection and prevention systems. As a further precaution, we ask that you familiarise yourself with the emergency evacuation plan, located on the back of your apartment door.   In the event of a fire, a continuous warning bell will sound.

Should you become aware of a fire or smell smoke, please call Reception immediately and state the location, in order to enable investigation

Should a fire start in or near your apartment:
- Remain calm
- Alert Reception immediately by dialling ‘9’
- If you are advised to evacuate the building, collect your key card and move towards the door
- Feel the door with the back of your hand. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN
- If it is not hot, carefully open the door and look outside
- If the hallway is not too smoky, proceed to the fire exit and descend to the ground floor where you will be directed to the meeting point.
- If you encounter smoke, crawl on your hands and knees
- Once inside the fire stairs, keep walking down and do not stop until you exit the building on the ground floor.
- Proceed from the fire stairs through the entry foyer and out the glass sliding doors to the assembly point. 
- Do Not Use Elevators
- Do Not Bring Luggage

If You Are Unable To Leave Your Apartment:
- Advise Reception of your location by dialling ‘9’
- Pack wet towels or sheets under the door
- Remain close to the floor
- All apartment doors are fire rated in accordance with the Australian Fire Safety Standards
- If smoke is evident, open windows and balcony door to vent the apartment. Hang a bed sheet out of the window to signal the rescue team. Do not attempt to climb down
- Remain close to the floor, keeping a wet cloth over your nose and mouth
- Rest Assured – help is on the way

Note: If you have a physical condition that might impair your ability to either detect an alarm or evacuate via the stairway, please notify Reception now.

Contact Reception immediately if you require First Aid assistance.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE

Pacific Epping has several banks, located in the shopping centre, who can assist with foreign exchange. Please see the Banks section for more information.

GYMNASIUM

Quest Epping offers a complimentary Guest Gymnasium, located on the 6th floor. The Guest Gymnasium is open from 5:00am to 10:00pm. To access the guest gymnasium, please use your apartment key card. 

HOUSEKEEPING

Please refer to “Servicing of Apartment’ in this section. Housekeeping will be happy to assist with any special requests or particular needs.

INCOMING MAIL

KEY CARDS

For your convenience and security we ask that you retain your key card during your stay and return it upon checkout. Please report lost cards to Reception immediately.

LIFTS

Quest Epping has two lifts for guests’ convenience.

LAUNDRY

A complimentary laundry is located on the 6th floor.

LOST AND FOUND

Please hand in any found items to RECEPTION.  Items are kept for a period of three months after which they will be disposed of at Management’s discretion. This is in accordance with Quest Apartment Hotels policies and procedures.

LUGGAGE TROLLEYS

A Luggage Trolley is available. Please contact Reception for assistance.

MAILING SERVICES

Mailing and shipping of local and overseas articles and parcels can be arranged with Reception. Your mail will be delivered to your apartment daily. If mail is expected after your departure we will be pleased accept a forwarding address.  For more information see "Business Facilities and General Information” section of the compendium.

MAINTENANCE

Should you experience any equipment failure in your apartment please contact Reception. Please note all guests are liable for any spillage, loss or damage to the appliances, furniture fixtures and all fittings in the apartment. Fair wear and tear is accepted. The cost of professional cleaning, if required, will be charged to the guest account.

NEWSPAPERS

National and a local newspaper are available at Reception. If you would like a specific newspaper ordered and charged to your room, please advise Reception the day before. If you would like a morning paper delivered to your apartment please organise with Reception. A range of tourist papers are also available. 

NONSMOKING APARTMENTS AND FACILITIES

Quest Epping has a strict NO SMOKING POLICY in all apartments except for private balconies and designated outside smoking areas.  Please respect this for the comfort of other guests. A cost of $500.00 will be charged to your account if the policy is not adhered to. This is to cover the cleaning of carpets, curtains, cushions, blankets and throws. If smoking within the building triggers a fire alarm a minimum cost of $1500.00 will apply.

NOISE

In consideration of other guests, Quest Epping has a No party policy. NO loud noise is permitted in your apartment after 10:00pm. 
Quest Epping prides itself on providing a homely and relaxing environment for the benefit of all guests. Please ensure that your television, stereo and radio volumes are at a comfortable level so as not to disturb other guests. If at any time you are disturbed by noise from either within or outside the property please dial 9 to contact Reception.

PARKING

Restricted onsite parking is available to guests. To open the guest parking gate please use your apartment guest key card on the right hand side of the driveway entry. Your car registration number details are required at the time of check-in. Quest Epping accepts no responsibility for guest cars parked in the car park.

PETS

We regret with the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted at Quest Epping. 

PHOTOCOPYING & PRINTING

A photocopying and printing service is available upon request from Reception. A charge of $0.25 per page applies.

PRIVACY

A “Do not disturb” sign is provided at the back of your apartment door. Please place the sign outside of your apartment door should you require privacy.

RESERVATIONS

Our Reception staff will be pleased to assist you with future reservations at Quest Epping or any other Quest Serviced Apartment properties across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. 

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES

Your apartment is equipped with a safety box, located in the bedroom wardrobe. For instructions on how to use the safety box, please see the back of your Guest Compendium.

SECURITY

For your security the front doors are locked from 10:00pm – 7:00am. Reception does however operate 24 hours. Overnight access can be gained with your apartment key card. Please use your key card for your own access only, and ensure others do not enter the property. Quest Epping features a video surveillance system for the safety of our guests. Please report any security issues immediately to Reception.

SERVICING OF APARTMENT

Your apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and Public Holidays unless otherwise arranged. Please report any spillages or accidental damage to Reception immediately as guests are responsible for any spillage loss or damage to the appliances, furniture and fixtures and all fittings in the apartment fair wear and tear is expected. Where professional cleaning is required the guest will be responsible for the costs.

TAXI

Reception is pleased to arrange a taxi, shuttle or a limousine service to your desired location. Alternatively you can arrange a taxi by pressing the taxi dial option on your apartment phone. 

TOWELS

Extra towels can be obtained from Reception.

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are available for hire from Reception. A $30.00 deposit will be refundable upon return of the item.  You are also welcome to purchase the umbrella. 

VISITORS TO YOUR APARTMENT

For your safety and security we recommended that all visitors register at Reception. After 11pm no visitors are permitted at the property except for registered guests for the safety and security of all in-house guests.  No parties or large groups of people are permitted in the apartments without prior approval by Management. Quest Epping has a NO PARTY POLICY. Guest will be asked to leave the property if this policy is not adhered to.

WAKE UP CALLS

Wake up calls can be arranged by contacting Reception. Alternatively you may use your alarm clock located on the bedside table of your apartment.
