WATER CONSERVATION
At Quest Apartment Hotels, we are committed to reducing our water consumption as part of our ongoing water conservation efforts. We integrate several practices to minimize water usage and waste per occupied room across all our locations in Australia. Our key initiatives include:
We continuously strive to make a positive impact on the environment.
REDUCING SINGLE USE PLASTICS
We are committed to reducing single-use plastics by installing bulk amenities in showers across all Quest Apartment Hotels. This initiative significantly decreases plastic waste, helping to protect our oceans and environment from the harmful effects of plastic pollution.
PAPER USAGE
Our goal is to transition to paperless front office check-ins at every Quest Apartment Hotel. Reducing paper usage not only saves trees and lowers our carbon footprint but also streamlines our operations for a more efficient and eco-friendly guest experience.
PROJECT NET ZERO
When undertaking property refurbishments, we are committed to supporting a circular economy through our partnership with Project Net Zero. Our goal is to divert items from landfill and collaborate with companies that amplify diverse voices. Project Net Zero provides items to:
By doing so, we help reduce waste and promote sustainability within our communities.
SOAP AID PARTNERSHIPS
Soap Aid is dedicated to improving hygiene and environmental sustainability by collecting, cleaning, and processing waste soap for vulnerable communities worldwide. This is why we have partnered with them—by diverting 20,000 kg of soap annually, we contribute to saving lives and protecting the environment. If you see a soap bar, know that it’s part of our commitment to Soap Aid. Each bar is recycled to prevent it from ending up in landfills and is instead transformed into a vital resource for those in need. With around five million bars of soap discarded daily by accommodation providers, every recycled bar makes a significant impact.
